Rebloom in Progress!

Raymond’s Garden Center suffered extensive damage from Hurricane Helene.

As many of you know, late September 2024, Hurricane Helene brought unprecedented challenges to our community, and Raymond's Garden Center was no exception. With over six feet of water inundating our building, our tree/shrub yard being stripped barren, and our greenhouses sustaining significant damage, we faced a daunting situation.

First and foremost, we are incredibly grateful that our staff and their families were safe. In the aftermath of the hurricane, our dedicated garden center team and the incredible Raymond’s Landscaping crews sprang into action. With determination and grit, we began the arduous task of gutting our building and cleaning the muck off of every surface. It has been a grueling process, but the camaraderie and teamwork shone through, reminding us of the strength of our community.

Sadly, we lost most of our stock in the flooding and our building and greenhouses suffered significant damage, but our team’s commitment to salvaging what we could was nothing short of inspiring. For weeks, they worked tirelessly, washing and cleaning plants to save as many as possible. Their dedication truly reflects the spirit of resilience that defines us.

We appreciate the outpouring of support from our community during this challenging time. You cried with us, donated to us and brought yummy goodies to cheer us up. Your encouragement and kindness meant the world to us.

We’ll continue to feel the effects of this storm for years to come, but we’re committed to rebuilding and continuing to serve the community.

Thank you for standing by us—we’re excited to grow together once again.
