About Us…

Raymond’s Garden Center is a family-owned business opened in 1993. See more details about our history…Our Roots

Along with the best staff any business could have, owner, Christine Raymond, continues the family's tradition of growing and selling the finest gardening stock with individualized customer service.

Members of Raymond’s experienced team are always on hand to help. Bring your questions, ideas, or problems in and find any one of our helpful staff. Many Raymond’s regulars have a favorite staff member they speak with each time they need advice or information. Some of our staff has been here for 25+ years!

Our Team…

Christine Raymond - dirt runs in Christine’s veins! While she is not one for the spotlight, Christine is the one that leads the charge around here. She leads by example and you will see her unloading trucks, watering plants, waiting on customers and sweating with the rest of us. She sets the tone and leads with grace, gratitude and empathy.

Brenda Rosbrook - While Brenda has filled many roles around Raymond’s through the years , currently, she is the lifeblood of our Growing Division. Under Brenda’s scrupulous lead, our team grows a vast inventory of annuals and perennials. Brenda works diligently to continually bring new varieties of perennials to our greenhouses. She is our walking encyclopedia of the plants we grow.

Kay Campbell oozes garden knowledge everywhere she goes and she has the pedigree to back it. Kay is easily found by her infectious laugh.

Christine, Brenda & Kay are not in this alone. We are lucky to attract some of the best talent around. Our customers benefit greatly from the many years of combined garden experience of our staff. We are all plant junkies at heart. Our staff return year after year because of the camaraderie that we have as a team. We work hard around here no matter the weather and we laugh a lot too. It can’t get much better than that.

Speaking of laughing we must mention The Shady Ladies! Brenda & Kay teamed up a few years ago to do a presentation at the Garden Jubilee festival in downtown Hendersonville. The Shady Ladies were born and they haven’t looked back. If you follow our social media or get our newsletter then you see the Shady Sisters in their regular videos. They also lead Seminars and Workshops at the Garden Center and sometimes take their crazy act on the road for professional, speaking engagements.
